- 常染色体優性遺伝性の角化異常症で，真皮，表皮ともに炎症細胞浸潤はほとんどない
- 基底層直上にfocalな裂隙がみられ，その上方に棘融解性の異常角化細胞が散在性巣状に認められる
- 棘融解性の異常角化細胞は，円形体corps rondsおよび顆粒体grainsと呼ばれる．前者は核がroundでclear perinuclear haloを伴い，後者は核がelongated or ovalな紡錘形の小型細胞をいう．（by 清水道生）
